The Lodge has under gone a complete makeover and we are pleased to announce that the work was completed in April 2008.

Whilst retaining it’s public house status it now boasts a continental style Café, Bar, Lounge and a Restaurant serving traditional English food as well as offering a wide and varied menu for all tastes and ages utilising wherever possible local produce. Situated on the A167 (old A1), in Crossgate Moor, in between Neville’s Cross junction and the Bear Park turning traffic lights. Heading North, we are located on the left hand side just before the Bear Park turning traffic lights where the Battle of Neville’s Cross took place in 1346. We have ample free parking spaces. Durham City Centre is within a walking distance of approximately ¾ miles.
